The annual Holiday Walk signals the beginning of the winter holiday season in Williamstown.  The Community Chest is pleased to host the Penny Social/ Nonprofit Fair, a cornerstone event of the Holiday Walk and a fundraiser for the Community Chest. The event will take place on Saturday, December 2, 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m in Lasell Gym, located at the corner of Main and Spring streets in Williamstown. Entrance to the event is located at 871 Main Street.

What is a penny social? A penny social is a fundraising event that combines elements of raffles and silent auctions. Guests buy tickets that they use to bid on items and prizes. Each ticket equals one bid. A winning ticket is drawn at random, and the guest who placed that ticket wins the item.
