The Community Campaign

We’ve kicked off our 2023-2024 community campaign! 1,400+ letters are arriving in mailboxes and more will be on their way soon. Supporting local agencies in the Northern Berkshires for generations, we once again are seeking the generous support of local neighbors and business partners to help reach another successful campaign goal.

The Williamstown Community Chest’s mission of “giving local” has been an important driving factor during its 96-year existence. Unique to the Community Chest is the fact that 100% of gifts to the community campaign help sustain 19 local organizations that serve our community.

This year’s fundraising goal is $320,000. As in years past, any first time donor’s support will be matched through a special gift.

Who we help

Contributions to the Williamstown Community Chest are distributed to local agencies working to help people in our community meet a variety of challenges. Your gift addresses the needs of many who are struggling with issues of poverty, addiction, and abuse right here in Berkshire County.
