Louison House provides transitory shelter or subsidized housing for homeless families and individuals while they search for their permanent homes.
Its current programs include:
Transitional Housing Program:
Provides shelter for homeless families and individuals and offers a range of supportive services, such as case management services, career/financial counseling, and life-skills training.
Permanent Supportive Housing Program:
Offers subsidized housing for chronically homeless individuals and supportive services such as budget counseling.
Representative-Payee Program:
Helps Social Security recipients who are required by the Social Security Administration (SSA) to have an individual or organizational payee manage their finances by contracting this service to an independent contractor who works with the recipient on a individual basis.
Special Supportive Prevention and Emergency Service:
Provides intakes and referrals, outreach, case management, and immediate short-term housing for homeless emergency requests.
