Berkshire County Kids’ Place and Violence Prevention Center offers a safe environment and clinical services to child-abuse victims, children who witness domestic violence and their non-offending family members.
Its current programs include:
Sexual Assault Intervention Team:
A group of experts from police forces, the District Attorney’s Office, Berkshire County Kids’ Place and more to ensure the safety of children and the prosecution of abusers.
Child and Family Counseling:
Provides therapeutic and clinical services to victims and non-offending family members.
Prevention and Outreach Program:
Raises community awareness about and provides programs to prevent child-abuse and domestic violence.
