Child Care of the Berkshires supports children and their families through promoting education and offering child care and family support.
Its current programs include:
CCB Youth Mentoring:
Assigns children aged 8-14 with a qualified adult mentor in the community, who will spend 1-2 hours each week with the mentee doing activities such as arts, academic tutoring, athletics and more.
Parent Child Home Program:
Offers families with young children (18-36 months) free books, toys, and trained home visits twice a week.
Healthy Families Program:
Provides first-time parents under the age of 20 with free, confidential support, from the prenatal stages until the baby reaches the age of 3.
